About us

Nomion Advisors

Independent advice,
built around your situation.

Nomion Advisors is an independent boutique advisory firm specialising in governance, shareholder dynamics and voting-related matters.

We support boards, executive management and investor relations teams at moments when the stakes are high and the right advice matters.

The name Nomion comes from the ancient Greek word nomos — meaning rules and governance. For us, governance has never been about theory or compliance alone. It is about decisions that are understood, supported and well-received in the market.

We believe that no two companies face the same situation. Your shareholder base, your market positioning and the decisions in front of you are specific to you. Our advice is too.

Our approach

Every situation has its own context.

Ownership structures, governance history, investor expectations and market conditions all shape outcomes. Standard answers are rarely the right ones. We provide situation-specific advice grounded in experience, market understanding and data-driven insight — with the clarity and structure boards need to move forward with confidence.

Our Team

Nomion Advisors brings together experience across governance advisory, investor analysis, and proxy voting.

The team combines capital-markets experience with a practical understanding of how institutional investors and proxy advisors assess corporate decisions in practice.

E. Petrakopulou - Advisory

„Governance without strategy is just compliance. And strategy without governance is just ambition. The two have to work together — and that is what we help boards get right.“

Evdokia Petrakopoulou – Founder & CEO
E. Petrakopulou - Advisory
Evdokia brings nearly two decades of experience advising boards, companies and institutional investors across EMEA and APAC on governance, shareholder dynamics and voting-related matters. Her career spans senior roles at DFK, Citibank, Ipreo and Registrar Services, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank — giving her a rare combination of capital markets depth, institutional investor insight and hands-on governance experience.

She has advised on several activism campaigns and her work spans governance advisory, shareholder engagement, proxy voting analysis and activism preparedness across a wide range of situations and markets. She founded Nomion Advisors to offer something the market rarely provides: genuinely independent, situation-specific advice from someone who has sat on both sides of the table.

„How investors assess a company is rarely a surprise if you know what to look for. Our job is to make sure boards know what that is before it matters.“

Julia Heitzenberger — COO
Julia advises boards and investor relations teams on governance and shareholder strategy, with a particular focus on the DACH region.
Drawing on a decade of experience at S&P Global and its predecessor organisations, she brings a deep understanding of how institutional investors and proxy advisors assess corporate decisions — and what that means for companies preparing for AGMs and other significant shareholder events.

Julia is a specialist in shareholder identification and has extensive experience working with institutional investors across a wide range of situations — helping companies understand who their shareholders are, how they think and how they are likely to act.
